Frequently Asked Questions

Event Etiquette & Safety

We're committed to making Paws in the Park a safe, enjoyable experience for every attendee — human and canine alike. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our event guidelines and safety protocols before the big day.

Proactive Safety: The Traffic Light Ribbon System

To help everyone communicate their dog's social comfort level quickly and clearly, we use the internationally recognised Traffic Light Ribbon System. Simply tie the appropriate coloured ribbon to your dog's lead before arriving.

Green Ribbon

Friendly & social — my dog loves meeting new people and dogs. Come say hi!

Yellow Ribbon

Please give us space — my dog needs distance from people or other dogs today.

Red Ribbon

Do not approach — my dog requires space and should not be touched or approached.
